He was predeceased by: his parents, James Theodore "Jim" Berry (Virginia Odom Berry) and Virginia Berry Payne; his former wife Sandra Houser "Kay" Berry; his sister Barbara Berry Lankford; and his sibling-in-law L. K. Lankford.
He is survived by: his wife Worth Ann "Ann" Berry of Lubbock; and his children, Doug Berry of Abilene and Shannon Berry of Florence, Mississippi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
