He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Polnick and Erna Polnick; his former wife Mary Ann Meimerstorf; his in-laws, Erwin and Jean Meimerstorf; and his brother-in-law James Meimerstorf.
He is survived by: his children, Benjie (Kimberly) of Waco, Creighton, Griffin, Harrison, Julie (Casey Wilson) of Abilene, Hayden, Tanner, Mary Collins, June, Chad Cain (Meredith) of Plainview, Abby, Sophie, Liam, Cary (Jeff Taylor), Clark, Callie and Caroline; his wife Alynn; his siblings, James Polnick (Janice), Leroy Polnick (Alice), Helen (Mike) and Dorothy (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Meimerstorf and Mickey Meimerstorf (Pam). He is also survived by extended family as well as many friends.
