He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Smith and Charlene Smith (Reid); and his siblings, Roger Smith, Cecil Smith, Rodney Smith and Janelle Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, DeAnna (JW Poage) of Abilene and Danielle (Tristin Dozier) of Iowa Park; his grandchildren, Dillon, Aiden Poage of Abilene, Riley and Remi Dozier of Iowa Park; and his siblings, Terry Smith, Wilma Smith, Teresa Smith, Linda Contreras and Janette Doyle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
