With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deanna Dean Askins of Abilene, Texas, born in Haskell, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Helweg and Sadie Lees Helweg; and her husband Robert "Bob" Askins. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Owens (Rodney), Barbara Richert (Ron) and Lisa Lewis (Quinn); her grandchildren, Kevin Giles, Lauren Askew (JW), Riley Owens (JoLynn), Haley Brown (Phillip), Hayden Lewis, Logan Lewis, Aubrey Richert and Sarah Richert; and her great grandchildren, Avarie Myrick, Kooper Lowther, Oaklin Giles, Evalynn Owens and Amelia Owens.
