She is survived by: her husband James Russell Ward; her daughter Shermell Kizzy Ward; her grandchild Jamie Shante Ward; her sister Carolyn Chance; and her aunts and uncles, Robert Chance, James Chance, Charles Chance, Samuel Chance, Ray Chance, Darlene Chance Hammork, Dorothy Chance McNally, Doris Chance Walker and Leona Chance Hurrington.
