She was predeceased by : her parents, Otis (Olive Burch) and W. V.; her brother Doyle Gene Burch; and her husbands, Jimmie Moore Mankin of Atlanta and William F. "Bill" Van Cleave.

She is survived by : her former life partner Jarrell Edwards of Abilene; her children, Alice Mankin LaMascus (Scott) of Edmond, Okla, Jeffrey Ashley Mankin of Nashville, Benjamin Preston Mankin (Amanda) of Franklin, Tenn., Vince, Laci, Robert and Carie Van Cleave; and her granddaughter Jana Emerson.
