He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Moore (Hicks) and Arther Moore Jr.; his wife Alice Moore (Coleman); and his children, Dorothy Dukes, Linda Blanton, Margie Blanton, Willie Jones and Donald Edward Moore.
He is survived by: his son Earnest Blanton of Abilene, TX.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
