He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Jane Stotts Scott and Homer "H. M." Scott (Scott); and his sister Eleanor "Kay" Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Sherlyn Estep Scott; his daughters, Becky Smith (Terry) and Tanya Scott (Marsha); his grandchildren, Craig Smith and Cameron Smith (Sally); his great grandchildren, Michael, Harley, Max and Amelia; and his sister Joy Zas.
