Doris Loraine (Herrmann) Oltmann Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 28, 2026, at the age of 80, Doris Loraine (Herrmann) Oltmann of Abilene, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Oltmann; her daughter Denise Ward (Oltmann); her parents, Christopher Herrmann and Fleeta Lorean Herrmann (Nation); and her siblings, Clarice Allen (Herrmann), Charles Herrmann and Jack Herrmann.

She is survived by: her children, Michelle Boyland (Kurt Boyland) of Abilene and Kenneth Oltmann (Heather Oltmann) of Murphy, Texas; and her grandchildren, Trek Boyland (Catherine), Katherine Boyland, Kelly Boyland, Alaina Cavin, Ryan Oltmann and Olivia Cavin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Big Country Master Gardeners Association or Lutheran Bible Translators.
