The family announces the passing of Doris L. Rose of Abilene, Texas on October 9, 2026. Doris, born on April 22, 1934, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sherwood and Leona K. Sherwood; her siblings, James, Dennis Sherwood and Robin Ford; and her son Dennis Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Rose; her daughters, Karen Kobeski (Edward), Barbara McCullough and Ellen Lukkasson (Rick); and her brothers, Clarence Sherwood (Julie) and Donald Sherwood (Alyce). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the MacArthur Funeral Home (134 Main St, Delhi, NY 13753). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Andes Cemetery.
