He was predeceased by: his father Douglas; his wife Ilona; his daughter Kristel Anne Cooley; his son-in-law Waylon Cooley; his granddaughters, Adalynn and Makayla Cooley; and his brother Kyle Alexander.
He is survived by: his son David Alexander; his siblings, Steve Alexander and Sharon (Kenneth Fletcher); and his cousin Elizabeth Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Texas State Veteran Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
