It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Carter of Abilene, Texas, born in Roby, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Carter and Lucille Carter; and his brothers, Harold, Neil and Billy Carter (Jane Carter).

He is survived by: his children, Victoria Greer of College Station and Bennett Carter (Leah) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Cole Carter (Lauren Carter) of Arlington, Lexi Carter Koonce (Andy Koonce) of Dallas and Gage Greer of College Station; his great grandchildren, Beckett and Adeline Carter of Arlington; and his wife Sherry Upshaw Carter of Abilene.
