He is survived by: his wife Judith Katherine Barkowsky (Self); his daughters, Lesa Starkins (Gregory) of Lloyd Harbor, NY and Holly Bynum (Bart) of Ovalo, TX.; his grandchildren, Connor, Brenna, Cameron Starkins, Owen (Brylee), Aidan and Ivy Bynum; his sisters-in-law, Joy Cook Barkowsky and Liz Chick Barkowsky; his nephews, Kelvin and Steven Barkowsky; and his niece Annie Cross.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hillside Memorial Gardens (2834 TX-208, Snyder, TX 79549). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Western Texas College Visitor Center (6200 College Ave, Snyder, TX 79549).
