He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose R. Lopez and Juanita Lopez. He is survived by : his wife Tina Lopez; his close friend Tina Lopez; his children, Maurice Lopez (Missy) and Nicole Sanchez (Johnny); his grandchildren, Katriel Lopez, Evan Lopez, Malia Lopez and Dominic Sanchez; and his brothers, Joe Louis Lopez and Chris Lopez (Stella).

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
