We are sad to announce that, on November 29, 2021, at the age of 88, Eldon Ray Amonett of Abilene, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda; his sons, Kelly Craig and Kelvin Greg; his parents, Willis Amonett and Alta Mullins Amonett; and his stepmother Eunice Pannell Amonett.

He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Kay (Johnny); his siblings, Roy Amonett and Dorothy Amonett Strickland; his stepsiblings, Nannie Pannell Burns, Bill and James Pannell; his grandchildren, Shana Raye (David Hutton), Dara Rodriguez, Erika Chapman (Cort), Dave Hutton III (Hailey), Dan Hutton, Holly Hutton and Micah Hutton; and his great grandchildren, Ellie Hutton, Moriah Hutton, Mercy Hutton and Kenya Ray Chapman.

The family suggests any memorials be made to New Mexico Christian Children's Home (Portales, NM) or Baker Heights Church of Christ (Abilene, TX.).
