He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baldwin and Laura Gilmore Baldwin; and his wife Elberta P. Baldwin. He is survived by: his children, Linda Gailes (Frank Gailes) of Abilene, Elgin Baldwin Jr. (Monica) of Denton, Virginia McPherson (U. L. McPherson), Darnell Baldwin of Abilene and Kathy Yvonne Baldwin; and his sisters, Oliva Harris and Dorothy Nash. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nephews, nieces.
