She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Edward Wheeler and Minnie "Frances" Wheeler (Yates); her husband Donald Connell; her daughter Donna Robinson (Connell); and her sister Mary "Patricia" Wheeler.
She is survived by: her son David Connell (Cheryl); her son-in-law Gary Robinson; her sister Charlotte Wheeler; and her niece Samantha Herlth (Chuck).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
