Frank Sims Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Sims of Abilene, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Iola Edge and Carlos Samuel Sims; his sisters, Dian Sims and Verna Theiss; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Theiss and John Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Nell (Nell); his children, Christie Sims MacnolI (Gary), Scott Sims (Tammy) and Mark Sims (Allison); his stepchildren, Steve Macon (Paula), Lynn Macon Brown (Doug) and Angela Macon Barker; his grandchildren, Shea Sims Moses (Tyler), Trey Sims (Sarah), Cameron Sims, Caleb Sims (Meagan), Mason Macnoll (Meagan), Marla Macnoll Bunnell (Grayson), Haylee Macon Jackson (Donald), Dylan Macon (Machyn) and Adam Barker; and his brother Ronald Sims (Vivian). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
He lettered in four sports at Anson High School and won many awards for his contributions to the teams.
