In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He served on the board of Pastoral Care and Counseling, was a member of the selection committee for The Big Country Athletic Hall of Fame, and participated in numerous civic and charity events throughout his time in Abilene.
