Glen Brooks Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 1, 2025, at the age of 95, Glen Brooks (Abilene, Texas), born in Alameda, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Brooks and Della Mae Purport; and his wives, Thelma Downey Brooks, Cleda Crawford Brooks and Ida Flo Coldren Brooks.
He is survived by: his brother David Brooks (Evelyn); his children, David Lee Brooks (Annette) and Janice Herrara (Robert); and his stepchildren, Patrick Kelly (Brenda), Candy Key (Bryan), Cade Coldren (Mary), Kyle Coldren (Susan) and Cody Carson (Darren).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 S. Pioneer Drive, Abilene, Texas 79605, in Glen's honor.
