Though Glenda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oakley and Winne Dell "Sue" Oakley; and her son Warren Dell Tellgren. She is survived by: her children, James Russell, Michele Tellgren, Patreese Adele Tellgren (Butler), Mark Kevin Wyrick and Kathleen Estelle Wyrick (Collom); and her sister Pasty Raye Oakley (Gregg). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Potosi Cemetery (2782 Potosi Rd, Abilene, TX 79602).
