The memory of Glendora Myrick of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Glendora may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Glendora touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odies Eugene and Annie Raughton; her husband Danny Myrick; and her sister Peggy Golson. She is survived by: her children, Wade Myrick (Misti) and Samie Myrick Shannon (Michael); and her grandchildren, Sonya Myrick Roberts (Johnny), Chandy Ashenfelter Hewitt, Gentry Ashenfelter (Jennifer) and Beau Myrick (Julianna). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piersall Funeral Directors (733 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602).
