It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Parker of Abilene, Texas, born in Stonewall, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reuben Parker and Ella Parker; and his siblings, Mike Parker, Kim Walton and June Clark.

He is survived by : his wife Carole Ann Burton; his children, Kurt Parker (Debby) of Plano and Sheri Pattillo (Pat) of Kerrville; and his siblings, Dickie Parker, Judy Wofford and Randy Parker.
