He is survived by: his wife Georgie Lee; his children, Linda Farell (Dan), Judy Simon (Jerry), Pam Teel and Jim Teel; and his siblings, Mary Hyink, Oren Teel and Al Teel. He is also survived by husband and sweet and gentle father and mentor to his children.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to Baptist Spanish Publishing House Foundation.
