We announce the death of Janis Altom (Abilene, Texas), who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jensen and Helen Jensen; and her sister Joyce Whitbread. She is survived by: her husband Bill Altom; her sons, Daniel Altom (Leah) of Magnolia, TX and Drew Altom (Jennifer) of Hendersonville, TN; and her grandchildren, Isaac, Caleb, Katelyn and Elissa. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
