He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Young and Marie Young. He is survived by: his daughter Sharyl; his son-in-law Jeff Ayers of Abilene; his daughter Suzanne; his son-in-law Gary Wideman of Burnet, Texas.; and his great grandchild Annabelle Lee Starr (Annie). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be given to the Christian Service Center of Abilene, Texas, or Cherokee Home for Children, Cherokee, Texas.
