Jerry Don Riggs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Don Riggs of Abilene, Texas, born in Roscoe, Texas, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, D. S. Riggs and Pauline Williams Riggs; and his brother Leroy Riggs. He is survived by: his wife Gwen of Abilene; his children, Stephanie Ellis (Charles) of Abilene, Jon Riggs (Lori) of Beulah and Susan Piersall (Randy) of Abilene; his sister Glenda Fry (Jack) of Granbury; his sister-in-law Theresa Henry of Archer City; and his grandchildren, Brittany Barksdale (Hayden) of Ponder, Carlee Tharp (Taylor) of Houston, Gwyndolyn Ellis of Abilene, Savanna Smith (John) of Fort Worth, Mason Riggs (Alayna) of Calhoun, Chandler Ellis of Abilene, Jake Riggs of Washington, D. C. and Greyson Piersall of Houston. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many other extended family members and close friends.
