He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Edward Coplin Sr. and Bobbie Lee Hill-Coplin; his grandparents, Willie Payne, Henrietta Payne and Brother Tommy Edward Coplin Jr.; and his sisters, Bobbie Jean Porter and Della Cotton.
He is survived by: his uncles, Cecil Hill, Willie Payne Jr. and Earlie Payne; his aunt Ruby Payne; his cousin Jean Crain; his sons, Jerry Coplin Jr. (Gwen) of Abilene and Jermaine Coplin (Theresa) of Abilene; his sister Cynthia Coplin of Arlington; his aunt Annie Laura Jackson; his grandchildren, Jasmin, Trevion, Jaydon, Aalaizha and Navleigh; and his great grandchild Laney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
