Jo Ann Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 93, Jo Ann Jones of Abilene, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jo Ann Jones to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Otis and Annie Elizabeth West Jones; her siblings, Otis Henry Jones, Peggy Jones Holbrooks, Martha Jane Jones and Billy Eugene Jones; and her nephews, James Allday and Colin Jones.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lonell Jones, Betty Jones Allday and Chris S. Jones (Judy); her sister-in-law Jane Jones; and her nieces, Debbie Holbrooks Prichard (Bob), Jill Holbrooks Loar (Scott), Tammy Holbrooks Baker (Ken), Tiffany Allday Doan (David) and Cozy Jones. She is also survived by great-great nephews and nieces as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery (2300 N Swenson St, Stamford, TX 79553).
