It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan R. Knight of Abilene, Texas, born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on September 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Richard and Lucille Richard (George); and her sister Linda Keller. She is survived by: her husband George W. Knight; her daughters, Karen Barlow (Jim), Kathy Welch (David) and Luellen Lawler (Phil); her grandchildren, Nicolas McMinn (Kenleigh), Shelby Beal (Hunter), Braxton Feemster (Brooklyn), Zandon Feemster, Sydney Roberson (Braeden) and Ryley Sanford (Beau); her great grandchildren, Watson Beal, Walker Beal, Jade Beal and Stella Feemster; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Keller and Becky Tromater (Ray).
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church Hope Center, First Baptist Church television ministry or Meals on Wheels Plus.
