She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Orr and Florence Orr (Warlick); her brother Rip; her sister-in-law Merle Orr; and her grandson Jarrett Forehand.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Boyd of Abilene; her children, Alan (Lori) of Nashville, TN, Susan Teel (Allen) and Jeannie Forehand (Gary); her grandchildren, Taylor Sharbel (Jacob), Stuart Boyd (Elizabeth), Megan Teel, Emily Teel (Jordan Bell), Julia Teel, Cassidy Forehand and Jackson Forehand; and her great grandchildren, Miriam and Lenore Sharbel.
Although Joann loved flowers and plants of all kinds, in lieu of these, consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Big Country.
