With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Carlile of Abilene, Texas, born in Cisco, Texas, who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard, Sr. and Gladys Juanita Finley Carlile; his wife Jan Wallace; and his granddaughter Livi Lindley. He is survived by: his daughters, JDana Lindley (Tom) and Jena Moore (Curt); his brother Omar Carlile (Pat); his grandsons, Alex McClure (Marshal) and Will Lindley (Janellys); and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Lindley and Theo Lindley. He is also survived by family members, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorial donations to Lyndale Memory Care of Abilene and Hendrick Hospice Care Center.
