She was predeceased by: her parents, Delton Walters and Dorothy Walters (McDonald); her brother Leonard Walters of Baton Rouge; her son Jason Lyons of Tyler; and her sister Glenda Walters of Crowley.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Cook of Abilene; her brother Donnie Walters (Gail) of Beach City; her stepdaughters, Kristin Daniel (Jay) of Martindale and Kendra Clark (Todd) of Conroe; her grandchildren, Nate (Megan), Ben (Hannah), Kaelin and Kassy; and her great grandchildren, Jack and James.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105) or Holy Family Catholic Church (P.O. Box 5970, Abilene, Tx, 79608).
