It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Harris of Abilene, Texas, born in Jal, New Mexico, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hale and Betty Ann Brightwell Hale. She is survived by: her son Kevin Johnson; her grandchildren, A. J. and Jase; her daughter Roxann (Chris Horn); her grandchildren, Angel and Brandon; and her sisters, Shirley (Larry York), Kathy (Dennis Kelly) and Vickie (Jack McCombs). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
