He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Mae Deaton and Henry Lacy Hooks (Hooks); and his siblings, Bobby Hooks and Mary Claire Opperman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Hooks; his son Stephen Lacy Hooks (Olivia); and his stepchildren, Mary Stevens (Johnie), Toree Gee (David), Danny Fought (Sandra) and Scott Milan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
