He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Chavez; his son Lauro Chavez (Kristina); his grandchildren, Catolina, Antonio and Francesca; his son Carlos; his granddaughter Lourdes; his children, Diane and Michael; his brother Luis Chavez; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie, Priscilla, Frances, Rudy and Manuel. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
