He was predeceased by: his wife Ivory Garrett; his parents, Earl Garrett and Ruth Garrett; his siblings, Earl Junior Garrett, James Garrett and Ana Garrett; and his sister-in-law Doll Garrett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clifton Garrett of The Colony, Texas, Billy Paul Garrett (Donna Kay) of Dallas, Texas and Sandra Garrett of Fort Worth, Texas; and his close friend Sharon Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; and many dear friends.
