He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy R. Smith; and his sons, Danny Smith and Robert Allen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Smith of Abilene, TX; his sons, David Smith of College Station, TX and Joel Smith (Lisa) of Abilene, TX; and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Alleqrucci of Abilene, TX, Alyssa Riffle (David) of Abilene, TX, Justin Smith of Abilene, TX and Chad Smith (Vanessa) of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
