Though Loveta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Loveta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bell and Adell Hill; and her brother Gary Wayne HIll. She is survived by: her husband Curtis R. King Sr.; her children, Asha Nyame of Abilene, Curtis King Jr. (Yvette) of Fort Worth, Shaneca King of Abilene and Quentin King of Abilene; and her brother Roy Hill of Abilene. She is also survived by grandchildren, Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the North's Funeral Home (242 Orange St, Abilene, TX 79601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Deliverance Community Church (5501 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Memories Cemetery (5701 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
