She was predeceased by: her parents, Haydn Hitchings and Mary Ann Hitchings (Croaker); her brothers, Clifford and Haydn; her husband Hershel; and her daughter Lee Ann Garcia.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry McCormick; her grandson Adam Garcia (Nichole); her great grandchildren, Oliver of Abilene and Ryder of Abilene; and her siblings, Margaret Williams of Wales, Phillip Hitchings of Wales, David Hitchings of Wales and Tom Hitchings of Liverpool. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and large extended family.
