With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Dora Kirkpatrick of Abilene, Texas, born in Bryson, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Bennett and Johnie Bennett; her sister Doris Orr of Bastrop, Texas; her son-in-law Phil Gage of Coppell, Texas; and her granddaughter Rachel Gage of Coppell, Texas..

She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill); her daughters, Debby Gage of Abilene, Becky Kirkpatrick of Abilene, Nancy Morgan (Kelly) of Abilene and Leah Percival (Kevin) of Lodi, California.; and her grandchildren, Zachary Percival (Taylor), Jennifer Percival, Julia Schiewe (Jeremy), Sam Morgan (Amy), Matthew Morgan (Lauren), Meredith Horn (John), Katie Hathorn (Nathan) and Christopher Morgan (KaSarah). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
