He is survived by: his wife Elaine Williams; his children, Melvin Williams Jr. (Jessica) and Jessika Garcia (Rafael); his grandchildren, Royce, Harlem and Sinai; and his siblings, John Williams (Freda), Mac Williams (Tina), Lucy Williams, Polly Adu, Cornelia Bordeaux, Sherry Burton and Lillie Hill (Odell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
