He was predeceased by: his father Ledane Sims. He is survived by: his mother Benita Sims; his wife Kimberly Hill; his sons, Aaron, James and Kaleb; his mother-in-law Kimberly; and his siblings, Aaron, J. T. and Kaleb. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
