It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Soto in Abilene, Texas, born in Odessa, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Jason Forrester; his uncles, Jack Nieto, Gomecindo Soto and Alex Mendoza; his aunt Becky Mendoza; and his cousin Alex Mendoza, Jr. (Michael).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Aguillon; his children, Mikey Soto, Rey Soto, Angel Aguillon, Jessica Diaz and DayDay Jones (Michael); his father Mike Soto, Jr.; his siblings, Greg Soto, Jonna Soto-Ledyard and Janita Soto; his aunt Stella Nieto; his cousin Maria Soto; Mary Jane Aguillon. He is also survived by sister; and several other cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
