As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Minerva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merced Garcia Hinojosa and Concepcion Molina Garcia; her husband Faustino Lerma Jr.; and her siblings, Olga Cardenas, Irma De Anda and Merced Garcia (Tito).
She is survived by: her children, Luis Lerma (Annette), Elia Smithson (Bob), Minerva Milne (John), Norma Lerma and Faustino Lerma III. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
