He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson F. Donahoo, Sr. and Zena McMeans-Doanhoo. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Donahoo of Abilene; his son Philip Andrew Donahoo (Amy Donahoo) of Raleigh, NC; his sister Angela Avery (James Avery) of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Georgia, Joellen and Marley.
