She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie F. Lucas and Bertice V. Lucas; her husband James Canning; and her siblings, Howard Lucas, Peggy Wingate and Wanda K. Pennington (Steve).
She is survived by: her siblings, Truett L. Lucas (Anita), Charles R. Lucas (Krista), Gwen Barrett (J. L.) and Diane Miller (Rodney). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
