She was predeceased by: her husband O. C. "Shorty" Gipson; her son Oran Gipson; her grandsons, Gerald and Josh Gipson; her parents, Rufus Hargrove and Ora Hargrove; and her siblings, Sue, Junior, Virginia, Hookie and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Farley (Hoss) of Canyon, TX, Gale Rotan (George) of Nolan, TX, Wayne Gipson (Kay) of Shallowater, TX and Arley Gipson of Abilene, TX; her sister Doris Zachry; and her grandchildren, Naaman, Emily, Jeremy, Amanda, Shelia, Tricia, Matthew, Kyle and Kristen. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Eilene to the following charities: CBN, John Hagee Ministries - Christian's United for Israel or a local hospice organization.
