He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladis Dagenhart and Doris Dagenhart; and his brother Roger Dagenhart. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Beth (Justin); his wife Rebecca Jan Dagenhart; his children, Madelynn Shae, Colten Blake, Michael (Shaun), Kaylee and Caleb; and his siblings, Ronnie Dagenhart of Arkansas, Sherry Gulick, Cindy Stovall and Rick Dagenhart of Oklahoma.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home and Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
