He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Baxter; his children, Steven Baxter and Tona Worthington; and his former wife Betty Moss. He is survived by: his children, Teri Vestal (Rick), Carla Whitehead (Steve), Stacey Phillips (Rob), Dona Westerman (KC) and Landra Worthington; his grandchildren, Ryon Vestal (Sara), Meredith Crump (Justin), Mark Baxter (Jacalyn), Rhett Vestal (Jessica), Kriston Spencer, Dayna Farmer (Danny), Chris Whitehead (Kristen), Lexi Harvey, Chelsea Phillips, Chrissy Doan (Donovan), Seth Phillips, Cassandre Shepherd (Jeremy) and Chy Anne Collinsworth (Will); his daughter-in-law Claire Baxter; his brother Marlin Alston; his son Heath Polasek; and his nieces, Tamala Hennington (Wayne) and Stephanie Easterling (Bobby). He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren, numerous extended family and dear friends.
